The Scared Blacksmith Episode 1

Let me start off by saying this show gives breastplate a whole new meaning. Not only do they forge metal plates to size perfection, but Cecily Campbell’s breasts are strong enough to bend it at will. If the first two lines isn’t enough to persuade you, then wait until you check out the Blacksmith’s assistant (^_~). Did I mention she’s a young elf?

Oh yeah, and there is dark mysterious cloaked figure and demons, but nobody cares about them.

I give this episode a 4/5 Umeboshi.

Watched HorribleSubs release.

Fairytail (oh ho ho clover) takes place in a world full of magic, dragons and flying ships. As you look at the screenshots that have been posted, you should recognize that it’s the same art style as One Piece. In fact, Natsu (the manly character) looks and behaves exact like Luffy. Fortunately, that’s about the only resemblance it has with that other inferior show.

Fairy Tail is a fairyly fast paced focusing on a certain magical guild called Fairytail. Natsu, the protagonist is a member of the guild and travels with his flying cat searching for a his pet salamander. On the search, he meets Nami from one pieceLucy and your typical weak baddies.

If I were to sum up this word in less than 10 words, it’d be THIS SHOW IS SUGOI!

I give this episode 5/5 Ameboshi.

Nyaa Koi Episode 2

Watched GG’s release.

The second episode of Eddie McDowd takes a different approach from episode 1.

Imagine that you have a cute childhood friend that you’ve been going to school with for years.  She is now a hot highschool “mamba” girl.

What do you do?

  • Avoid her
  • Argue with her
  • Agitate her
  • All of the above

Apparently, Junpei is a raging lunatic who starts arguments with the hottest chick in the show, who also happens to be a very close childhood friend.  Kanako Sumiyoshi graces us with her unique gold/pink colored hair and unique facial makeup.  She is obviously the most attractive 2D character within the show but Stupei ends up insulting the princess, as well as making her remove her “mamba” makeup–turning her into the ugliest character in the episode!

I give this episode a 0/5 4/5 Umeboshi

Watched GG release.

Nyan Koi is about a boy who can talk to cats.

The End….

The main character, Junpei, broke a cat god statue and ended up with the curse (more like gift) of talking to cats.  Instead of accepting the curse and turning into a giant cat and commanding a giant neko army, he decides to break the curse by doing 100 good deeds to cats.  Like every other typical school based anime, Junpei stalks the girl he likes every morning.

Sound familiar yet?

The 100 Deeds For Junpei Kousaka

I give this episode 4/5 Umeboshi.

Watched Ayako’s HQ release.

Episode starts off with Kuroko being her usual perverted self waiting for a certain scientific onee-sama.  Onee-sama is apparently chasing a certain non-magical right hand.  With a sudden turn of events, biribiri and Kuroko are punished with pool cleaning duty.  There, we are introduced to two of Kuroko’s classmates, one whom is a water user.  In the end, the audience is entertained with a certain non-pornographic S&M scene.

4/5 Umeboshi’s.

Biribiri Episode 1

Finally the show that everybody is waiting for!

With a certain non-magical Index leaving fans with much to be desired, J.C staff creates an anime adaptation of the Index spinoff “Toaru Kagaku no Railgun” (A certain scientific Railgun).

Let’s be frank.  Index did not give us enough Biribiri x Kuroko action.  Lucky for us, we now have a whole show dedicated to this fabulesbo duo.

So does it live up to expectation?  Yes and No.

Yes simply because Kuroko is in it and no because Biribiri still wears shorts.

I give this episode 4.5/5 Umeboshi.
